This piece is 5ft. wide x 5ft. tall x 1ft. deep. I created this piece in response to the history of the markings of mankind. The canvas is layered with hundreds of different kinds and colors of paint. It has been scraped, scratched, covered, splashed, and glued. The “protective fencing” is made from mild steel and has been formed to create an optical illusion when viewed at different angles.
