“The Woman’s Tonic” is painted in oil on canvas, and is 24″ X 30″. It was inspired by an old, faded ad that I saw on a wall in Paducah, Ky. I am from the Detroit area, but was moved by the history of Paducah, and its division during the Civil War. I felt it needed a very strong, solid woman in front of the wall — Past vs. Present.
