“Blueprint'” was a piece that came about when I found an old technical drafting of a Ford Model A coupe. Being a automotive designer here in the metro Detroit area by trade, and a hot rodder by nature, I love the idea of both what the original intention of a mass produced product like a car is, versus the lengths that people go to make it there own. It’s a true mix of art and design. In this piece, which is a mix of pen sketch and digital rendering, you can see the vast difference in proportion from what rolled off of Henry’s line to what was probably seen ripping down Woodward not long after.
