This piece has become a landmark in Detroit. The Art is located on Michigan Ave. in Corktown. The piece was commissioned by the owner of Grandma Bob’s restaurant in 2017. I spent 3 weeks creating and installing this work. They piece consists of 105 different colors positioned in a manner to draw the viewers eye in and around the piece. I had to measure and physically draw all of the lines on the face of the building. I then had to use painters tape to get a crisp edge on each geometric shape. 30 rolls of blue painters tape needed to be used. This piece is rather large, with a width of 60ft and height of 23ft. This work has been shown in movies, and is known all over the world.
