I had the pleasure of spending some time watching 4 cheetah cubs playing (or not playing, lol) while in Kenya. Over a 1 month period of traveling through Kenya, South Africa, and Botswana, I took over 70,000 photos between 2 camera bodies. I still have 1000s of photos to go through, but I knew the instant I snapped this photo that it was going to be a keeper. I suspect that I may actually process and use only 1 photo / 1000 taken – maybe even less. Wildlife shooting is tough work – so many variables have to come together, in an instant, to produce a magazine quality image. Nikon Z9, Sigma 60-600mm Sport.
