The artwork is created in a process that I invented and trademarked Laypuzzim® (Layered puzzled image). Every color is cut out by hand, puzzled together to create the image using negative space. This piece is inspired by the only person mentioned in the bible as a king and a priest before the arrival of Jesus (Gen.14:18). The artwork serves as a modern-day version of Melchizedek. He is adorned with a gold brim hat that serves as his crown and a gold necklace with a cross that represents his priesthood.
